The Finca is the perfect location for a family holiday.
Children of all ages will adore splashing around in the pool, chasing cats in hidden corners of the finca or rambling after butterflies further afield in the surrounding olive groves.
The Pool
The pool has shallow (90cm) and deep (2m) ends and roman steps at the shallow end for paddling. The pool is located at the western extremity of The Finca, a minutes walk from the houses therein ensuring that parents can exercise control over children's access of the pool.
Bikes
There are mountain bikes to fit most sizes and toddlers tricylces. The Finca and valley provide a safe environment for children to explore.
Games Room
Children can have hours of fun playing table tennis, table football and pool.
Interactive Sculptures & Exploring
Children can enjoy the interactive wooden sculptures. Set on a hillside the finca is dotted with climbable trees and natural rocky outcrops which the adventurous will enjoy exploring.
Goat Farm and Animals
Take a stroll down the lane and visit the Goat Farm. The owners are very friendly and always seem to enjoy a visit. Walk a little further and you will see sheep and the lane's resident peacock.
Goats in the Valley
Previous guests have listened out for the sound of bells and taken their cue to head down into the valley to follow the goats as they are led on their daily stroll past The Finca.
Horseriding
Fun for all the family to enjoy, the local stables, Cortijo Las Minas, are a 15 minute drive from The Finca. Within easy reach and at very affordable prices it does not need to be a once only treat. Contact Dorcas on tel: 00 34 952 756 037, www.ecuestrelasminas.com.
Tennis
There is a tennis centre only 25 minutes from The Finca.
Facilities
High chair, baby bath, travel cot, hand held blender and nappy bin are all available. Furniture for toddlers, toys and books will be provided on request.
Safety
The Finca is safe for children. Rock terraces behind the house give safe access to the hillside. Stairgates are provided on request. The gallery outside the Casita bedrooms is designed to be too high to clamber on at 90 cm high. The pool is located away from the two houses at the extremity of The Finca and is fenced off. Life rings are located by the pool.
